Simple Face SPF for sensitive skin- Best Beauty products 2017

Kiehl’s midnight recovery eye

I can’t rave about this product enough. It is probably my favourite product of 2017 (and 2016!). It is actually a miracle worker. Even if you’re not yet worrying about wrinkles, it is still worth picking this up. It plumps up the under eye area making dark circles less obvious and diminishing any dryness so your makeup will go on perfectly – If you have dry under eyes at all it’s a life saver! Shop it here.

Simple 30 spf moisturiser

I discovered the amazing-ness of this product whilst travelling around Thailand. It was a heatwave at the time we went which in Thailand means 40 degrees so wearing sun-cream was an absolute must. My skin in general is super sensitive especially my face. I’d tried so many products, foundations with spf, tinted moisturisers with spf and none had worked for me. So I went into Boots and decided I’d just get a face spf and wear it under any makeup. I looked for one with as high spf as possible for sensitive skin and picked up both this and another and hoped for the best. The other went straight in the bin about 2 days into the trip but this simple moisturiser has become my must-have on any holiday. I apply it once at the beginning of the day and I can honestly say I’ve never burnt my face since using this plus it’s never caused my skin any sensitivity!

Vaseline Intensive moisturiser

If you have dry skin generally but can’t stand the feeling of oily moisturisers like me, this is perfect. It’s so moisturising but equally doesn’t feel greasy at all and is absorbed so quickly. (FYI – Boots usually have offers on it but if not Savers do it much cheaper!) Find it here.

Goldfaden exfoliator - best beauty products 2017

Clarins Beauty Flash balm

The only reason I discovered this product was because it came as a sample size in one of those ‘buy — and get a free gift’ at Boots. Turns out it’s become one of my all time favourite beauty products. It’s hard to explain exactly why it’s so great but it just smooths your skin and preps it for your makeup. It’s slightly tacky which means it helps your makeup last all day and just leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised. You’re just going to have to trust me on this one- it’s worth the price tag! You can get it at boots.

Loreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

The point of these masks is to buy different ones for different needs and areas of your face. I have 3 and personally I would suggest if you’re going to get just one (to start with at least) go for this one. It’s such a good multi-tasker. Even if you have fairly dry skin like me it’s still worth having. You will need a rich moisturiser after using it but it really does detox your skin. It’s great as a spot treatment too.

Goldfaden HD ‘Doctors scrub’

This is the finest exfoliant I’ve ever come across. It means you can be super soft and gentle when using it as it does the hard work for you. I only exfoliate my face once a week as it isn’t good for your skin to scrub it too often, plus you only need the tiniest bit. So while it is extremely boujee to spend £65 on an exfoliator, it does last a long time and it is the best of the best! If you have dry skin or blocked pores this is so good at clearing your skin. I bought mine from Space NK.
