If you read my first post on my weekend in Paris then you’ll know I went on a little trip away for my birthday.
This post is all about Day 2 which involved a visit to Angelinas, Laduree, shopping and Pizzas (a classic french dish, I know!)
We started the day at a bakery (of course) before walking around Paris and exploring. We headed to Angelinas which is a definite must, I went for the classic hot chocolate which was as everyone says, extremely rich but delicious and perfect for a chocoholic like me.

Laduree
Arc de Triomphe
Notre Dame
After lunch we walked down the Champs Elysee to do some shopping. This is a boulevard with every shop, it even has a Sephora. It is a lot more expensive than online however so I did leave (almost) empty handed, although it does have all the makeup goodness only available in the US which is always tempting..
Across from Sephora is Laduree. Laduree do the best Macarons in Paris. Fact! There’s not much else to say except that anyone who thinks the queue isn’t worth it is mistaken!
I couldn’t recommend visiting Paris more. It can be done on a budget and there’s so much to explore and do even after all the usual tourist spots!
Have you ever been to Paris? What was your favourite place?
