“Describe your style”
I hate being asked this question. Fashion is about experimenting with different looks, it should be fun and non-restrictive. So being able to summarise your style into a neat little sentence is just not always possible. This subject follows on from my last post where I spoke about that question of ‘am I cool enough to pull this off’, whether you usually wear girly dresses or caps and trainers it shouldn’t mean you have to stick to that ‘look’ for risk of being judged.
Some days I feel very Kylie Jenner and others I look to the likes of Olivia Palermo for my style inspiration. I love wearing lace and extremely high heels but I also love oversized clothing… I’d never be able to describe my style in 3 words!
I tend to go through different phases and currently I’m into extremely oversized, probably unflattering, very basic, casual clothing. I did catch myself wondering if people would wonder why I suddenly dressed as a man repellent but luckily I realised I shouldn’t care! Give me a couple of days and potentially I’ll be into frilly, over the top statement styles. But that’s completely fine. It doesn’t mean I don’t ‘know what my style is’, I just like trying out a lot of different styles.
The quality of this jumper is so much better than you usually find at H&M and not because the usual quality isn’t good. I love the nude blush colour, the fit and length.. If you couldn’t tell, I’m obsessed.
…All aboard the leopard print train! Seriously, who doesn’t love this trend?! These low heeled, pointed pumps are my new babies. On the slightly pricier side, for me but completely worth it in my opinion.
