Leopard print is like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. Personally I love it and I can’t stop wearing this Mango coat. However I do think there are a few rules to live by if you don’t want to look like you’re auditioning for Eastenders… although, each to their own, you do you, boo (yeaah I know, I can’t pull that saying off.)
Ensure the leopard print is the statement feature of the outfit. Wear similar colours or neutrals throughout the rest of the look.
Keep the rest of the outfit simple. Try to avoid fuss and other patterns/prints which detract from the leopard print.
Don’t try and match leopard print pieces. Unless the print is very small, say your shoes and a choker, but don’t try to match a huge leopard print coat with a bag/shoes. You’ll end up looking like you’re playing dress up.
Keep it classy. I’m one of those people who puts on anything that has the slight potential to look cheap, and it does. Because of this I’m very careful with how I wear things. So, for me at least I would probably avoid wearing leopard print with trainers, OTT statement jewellery and anything too Kardashian-esque- no shade intended!)
