My style is definitely not girly or too feminine. I prefer ‘cool’ styles or slightly ‘edgy’ looks but I know dresses and skirts can be slightly harder to style if you aren’t typically girly. So I put together three looks from PrettyLittleThing to give you some ideas and show you how I’d style them.

Wearing the skirt with this corset top takes it from feminine to cool and rather than wearing a girly shoe, these slouchy boots grunge up the look. You could also wear this with trainers if you’re not a fan of heels.

Absolutely love this floaty white dress with the sleeve and waist band detailing. It is extremely girly and paired with some floral accessories or pastel hues it would be a very feminine fit. But wearing it with these lace up heeled boots rather than court heels gives it an edge and I’d pair it with a black bag too as I like the contrast with the darker colours.

Lastly, I’ve gone full grunge with this look. I love these boots to mix up any look up but paired with a slogan tee and denim skirt and it takes me straight back to my year 8 grunge days. I’ve paired it with some contrasting gold earrings and Raybans to keep some femininity and bring it back to 2019!
