I mentioned over on my Instagram page recently that I’m loving the Autumn/Winter collections on the high-street this year. Often they miss the boat at the beginning of the season – trying to hit trends quickly but end up making them slightly tacky in the process (personal opinion) but this time around I’ve seen so much I need I literally haven’t stopped shopping. It’s that time of year when every. single. blogger talks about how although they’re sad summer is over, they’re excited for ‘layering season’, ‘autumnal colours’ and ‘transitional pieces.’ – So I’m not going to say that but umm.. yeah what they said! My favourite trends and the pieces I’ve found shoppable now..
Mustard Yellow and Pillar Box Red
This year has definitely been the year of introducing colour into my wardrobe. I used to live in black and grey but I’m all for these colours this Autumn. You’ve probably seen my beautiful little yellow (Gucci dupe) bag as I’ve been wearing it all the time. It was Topshop – sold out but check again as you never know! I’ve linked some similar below. Equally this red knit I wore here – is another of my favourite pieces. Linked below!
One that is high on my list to buy next. Zara had a beautttiful pair but of course, they’ve sold out. This is one of those trends that started last year (by Yeezy himself) and has developed on the high-street and now you can find them everywhere. I even bought the nicest pair of over the knee sock boots the other day in Bershka. If you’ve ever struggled with otk boots falling down, try these type of elasticated ‘sock boots’. Topshop in particular are killing this trend, and not as expensive as you’d think!

Make them bright, make them bold! Missguided have nailed it on puffa jackets. All different colours, only £45. Just make sure to size down.
I’m living in my biker skirt while it’s still warm enough to get my legs out! Paired with a jumper it’s my favourite look for the Autumn season – as you can see over on Instagram! this one is from Topshop, linked below.
Frayed hems of jeans was the trend last season but this season it’s all about fraying on jumpers. Whether it’s just the hems like the Zara ‘Blonde’ sweater or ladders throughout the whole jumper. I’ve just jumped aboard this trend train – shop my Bershka distressed cream knit here or some of the others I have my eye on below.
I know, I know it’s Autumn not Summer. But I’ve seen these cropping up everywhere lately and I’m obsessed. Plus I’m an all-weather sunglasses wearer kinda gal.
