Since starting blogging I have broadened my horizons massively in what I wear. That’s not to say my style has changed much because of it (although it has grown over the years) but I just wear more of exactly what I want to wear rather than thinking ‘I’d love to wear that but…’ and come up with a ridiculous reason why I couldn’t pull it off. Whether it’s your ‘usual’ style or something completely different shouldn’t make a difference. Your personal style doesn’t have to fit into one category (A topic I’ve spoken about in a previous post). There’s a certain level of confidence being a blogger brings to me and somehow it stops me wondering ‘if I can pull it off’ and means I wear whatever I like the look of. And I think that’s how it always should be, blogger or not.

The Slip Dress
Don’t get me wrong I do think there’s something in ‘dressing for you shape’ purely because if it’s flattering and fits well to your figure, usually you feel a lot more confident wearing it. However when it come’s to this 90’s slip dress from Topshop, it’s never going to be the most flattering dress, not even on Gigi Hadid because that’s not what it’s trying to be! I personally think this dress is so pretty and chic considering it’s so comfortable and easy to wear. It one of those ‘cool’ looking dresses rather than feminine and flattering but who says you have to show off your shape all the time?! 2017 is definitely bringing braver fashion choices for me (all shared over on the ‘gram) and hopefully it will inspire others to do the same.
I really like neutrals! This outfit looks just perfect on you!
Keep up with the good work and check out my blog,
xx Kris
