If there’s one thing I love doing, it’s eating my way around London. So I thought it was about time I compiled a list of my favourite spots to go for the best food whilst also nailing that Instagram pic..
Over in West London in colourful Notting Hill lies Farm Girl. You may have seen all your favourite bloggers ‘gramming about this place, and rightly so as it’s a perfect summer spot. With a small outdoor seating area made up with shabby chic pink table tops and faux sheepskin furs covering the seats it’s very photogenic. Only made more so with their rose and chai lattes, perfectly decorated with dried rose petals and chocolate dog stencils. Whilst you’re there, be sure to explore the pretty streets of Notting Hill for another perfect photo op.
Neal’s Yard Covent Garden
There are so many Instagrammable areas Covent Garden. Neal’s Yard is quirky, colourful courtyard and home to 26 Grains – the perfect brunch spot. 26 Grains is a small but perfectly formed health café offering a range of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. The menu is concise but varied, offering drinks such as tumeric lattes and dishes like savoury oats and acai bowls. If you’re into your healthy options you will love this place (if not you might want to try somewhere else!)
Situated on the Strand with a mixture of British and Asian menu, this place has a cocktail bar which will create any kind of cocktail imaginable (on or off the menu). The waiters are very friendly and if it’s someones birthday you’ll get a shot and a little cake on the house! It’s spacious high-ceilings and modern decor with pink accents makes the perfect setting for a photo.
A place I’ve written a review on before, it’s white bright and airy. Marble tables, huge mirrors and similarly to FarmGirl; a shabby chic vibe but this place and their food is just as Instagrammable. It’s also usually quite quiet here, being away from the very centre of the city, so taking a good photo is a lot easier (and you’ll have less of an audience!)
Side Note: A lot of houses in Pimlico are white and gated so if you’re looking for a place for that perfect ‘street shot’ this is ideal! Also this picture perfect florist, ‘Wild at Heart’ is just down the road..
Anywhere that does pancakes for brunch is a winner in my book. The Botanist is situated in Sloane Square (just down the road from No.11). It’s simple but elegant interior make the perfect backdrop and if you’re into your traditional brunch, you will love this place. They offer all the usual options- cooked to perfection. They also do an amazing superfood salad and a Sunday Roast if that’s your thing.
If you haven’t seen this one around, I don’t know where you’ve been hiding but this pretty pink cafe is a must-go. It’s in Belgravia on the corner of Ebury street- you can’t miss it as the whole place is painted pink. If you manage to get over in the summer months, it will be adorned with flowers all around the cafe front. It is very small inside but there is also seating outside so is perfect for those rare sunny days! Marble Tables make it just as Instagrammable inside as it is outside! It is on the pricier side but the cakes are worth it.
The prettiest botanical space in City, filled with hanging vines and plants and comfy armchairs- this place is where you need to be for a boozy lunch with the girls. (Note- bottomless lunch is an option). Unfortunately on the day I was visiting I was extremely hungover and apparently completely incapable of taking a decent photo (did NOT do it for the ‘gram) so here’s one from Pinterest instead!
Fourteen Trevor Square
This isn’t a place to eat but I couldn’t finish an ‘Instagrammable place’ post without the cutest Insta-famous house! Find this pink and white gem in Knightsbridge, in Trevor Square (obviously). How could you not want a photo here?!
Where are your favourite Instagrammable spots in London? Would love to know any recommendations!
