Does anyone else find the time between having to get out of bed in the morning to getting dressed the hardest minutes of the day?! Ok slightly dramatic (finding the coffee jar empty is harder) but the struggle is definitely real.
The heatings on, yet it’s still freezing and all you want to do is throw on a cosy jumper and be warm again (or jump back into bed). And yet you’re caught in this dilemma where you still want your outfit to look style-led without having to spend ages searching your wardrobe freezing your *ahem* toes off or putting on an outfit that doesn’t keep you head to toe cosy.
Well, if I have the time and effort I may style my outfit the night before. This way I can just jump straight into it, but gawdd knows I don’t have time the effort for that most days.
My main objective is to build a collection of jeans and jumpers big enough and nice enough to be able to wear a different one every day, but I’m not quite there yet. Here’s my top knit picks so far:
Saved By The Bell
The bell sleeve, trumpet sleeve, flared sleeve or whatever you fancy calling it is another life saver in terms of making jumpers this season look way more stylish.
I also find wearing any kind of long sleeved, long length top under a jumper can dress it up (and add an extra layer of warmth). Speaking of layering, a layered necklace is my other go-to when I’m in a rush and trying to look vaguely presentable.
I can’t get enough of this jumper, it has to be the warmest knit I own and I love how oversized it is. The colour is somewhere between grey and beige marl and while this is a fairly dressed down, simple look, it also works well worn half tucked into a skirt or layered over a bell sleeved top.
This time of year is a nightmare when figuring out what to wear! You’ve nailed it though, and I love the jumper!
