I keep reading/hearing everyone around me talking about how ‘summers coming to an end’ and ‘that’s it now’… Honestly I feel like I’ve missed something, September is always a great month weather-wise (here’s hoping I didn’t just jinx it) and not to mention prime holiday month for non-school-holiday prices. So with that in mind *and having bought yet another pair of sunglasses last week* I’ve put together a list of my favourite designer sunglasses and the best dupes I’ve found (and bought). Don’t wanna jinx it or anything but the sun is shining as I write this…. Just sayin’.
Chanel Round Sunglasses
Those Chanel gold plated round sunglasses– potentially the sunglasses of the moment, but at around £370 they’re definitely not in all of our budgets. There have been some pretty good dupes around however; New Look had a perfect pair but they’ve sold out now so I’ve linked the next best things, including the ones I have.
Celine Flat-top Shadow Sunglasses
These Celine Shadow flat top Sunglasses have been around a while now thanks to the Jenners/Kardashians. A bit ‘extra‘ but I love them all the same. If you’re in the market for a pair of sunnies that cover half your face then it’s your lucky day.
(I’m wearing ASOS- Out of stock)
Saint Laurent Oval Smoke Sunglasses
Chanelling all kinds of Kurt Cobain vibes in these Saint Laurent dupes. My personal favourite sunglasses trend of the season. Unfortunately the sleepy village I live in isn’t quite ready for this look so it’s one for the holiday – you’ll definitely catch me in these pool-side.
Celine ‘Catherine’ Sunglasses
These, along with my raybans are what I call my all-weather sunglasses. The understated classic style along with a dark lens means you can wear them in the middle of winter or summer, season to season. The designer take are the Celine ‘Catherine’ – Classic Tortoiseshell Sunglasses. I bought their high-street dupe from Forever21 a while ago but I’ve linked similar dupes below.
Rayban Gold Metal 001
I’m not really sure I count Raybans as ‘designer sunglasses’ but nonetheless they are amongst my absolute favourites. As mentioned before they are an all-weather classic and never go out of style so in my eyes, worth the investment. However ASOS also have the perfect dupe for a quarter of the price in all different colours.
