The Mule – By far the shoe of the season and I’m completely obsessed. I saw these furry insole mules on Audrey of Be Frassy’s instagram and (as with everything she styles) they looked so expensive so I couldn’t believe they were less than £30 over on Ego. FYI they are now in the sale for less than half price, typical.
Despite their heel, these are actually really comfortable so will be perfect for replacing heels in the evenings. Saying that, you can’t beat a flat mule. I recently bought a pair from Ego; those Gucci dupes. They’re really good quality compared to some other’s I’ve seen and can already tell I’ll be living in them throughout the Spring/Summer. Still, they’ll forever be a shoe boys don’t understand. My brother’s response to mine ‘…but where’s the back..?’
I’ve linked a few pairs that I have my eye on below!
I wore this outfit whilst exploring Oxford with my friend Ella who took these shots for me. I’ve broken all my own rules from last weeks post ‘Dressing for shorter legs’ (I warned you I do that occasionally!) with these cropped kick-flares, so the heel on these mules is perfect for giving my legs some length back! For anyone in the Oxford area, I would definitely recommend exploring! The streets are so pretty (helped with the sprinklings of blossom) and the buildings so impressive compared to my hometown of Reading. We stopped off at TVC and had drinks on the rooftop- another must visit.
