New Season Favourites

So whether we like it or not Summer has officially gone and Autumn is upon us! However this does mean a whole new wardrobe is justifiable! So although I haven’t dared put my bank balance through an Autumn haul just yet, I have done my fair bit of window shopping. So I thought I’d share my favourite trends along with a few links to shop them.

1. OBI belts
I have seen these everywhere recently, they’re belts which wrap around your waist and tie up. One of these with a suede dress would be a perfect look for AW15.
I love this tan suede version as well as this black leather version both from ASOS.

2. High ankle boots
Ankle boots are raising the bar this autumn, finishing slightly higher up the leg, they look expensive and add sophistication to any outfit. If you follow my instagram you may have seen that I just bought this pair of ankle boots by River Island which I am obsessing over!

And here’s another of my favourites from Topshop.

3. 70s
70s fashion is hanging on in there for Autumn and my favourite piece is the suede dress. Perfect to wear with or without tights these dresses look so put together without any thought, so it’s safe to say one will be in my wardrobe sooner or later. The ones I have my eye on are…

– Miss Selfridge
– Missguided

4. Khaki/ Camouflage
I am pretty sure I don’t, nor have I ever owned anything camouflage in my life.. However I don’t know why! I love this trend as long as it’s done carefully. I’ve seen a few jackets, bags and dresses of the camo print style which add a cool, edginess to an outfit as long as the rest is kept understated.
Saying all that, we are all aware of my love for khaki as it is probably filling half my wardrobe at the moment. I have seen some sneek peeks of Inthestyle’s new range which features a camo dress but until that’s launched here are my favourites around at the moment.

Missguided Khaki dress
– All Saints biker jeans (NEED)

5. Rust
While my khaki obsession is still going strong, rust is definitely my favourite colour of the season. Be it a rust coloured suede dress, those rust boots or a rust coloured jacket it’s the go to colour this Autumn.

( Also I have finally managed to fix the ‘followers’ link so give me a follow via the Google or Bloglovin widgets on the right hand side!)
