Favourite Coats Round-Up |
Where to Buy your Winter Coats

To say I’m a coat person would be an understatement. My theory is, in winter all you really see of an outfit is your coat – especially if you’re outside – and you wouldn’t wear the same top every day so why wear the same old coat! The unfortunate thing is coats are a hellaa lot more expensive but of course they can be styled up differently and last for ever so worth the investment! This year coat trends are bolder than ever and I’ve already jumped on about a million trend-trains ( I have absolutely way too many and nowhere to fit them ~1st world problems~..) so here’s my round up of my favourite styles, where to get them and the one’s I have my eye on..

The Puffer Jacket

The newest style to make it back into the limelight, the puffer jacket has well and truly made it’s comeback. These are best in the boldest, brightest colours although I played in safe in black.

The Tailored Coat

A structured style which is perfect for a smarter look. I love this type of coat as you can be wearing an LBD or jeans and a knit and it works.

The Fur Coat

Yes I do look a little bit like Sully from Monsters inc. in this fluffy green number, but I’m embracing it.

The Aviator

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen I fell in love with this burgundy aviator from Boohoo (shop here).  The colour in general is my favourite for this season and the aviator style coat is such a classic – I am building a collection of one in every colour..

The Duster Coat

This is one I bought from Missguided last year, but I’m seeing more and more pop up, beautifully oversized and man-repelling.. it’s on my list.

The Biker Jacket

The biker jacket is such a classic. One which will never go out of style and works with so many looks. My favourite way to wear biker jackets is to grunge up a girly outfit but I think it works equally well with a casual jeans and tee look as I’m wearing here. This one is from Lily Lulu Fashion and you can shop it here.

The Teddy Coat

Can we take a moment to appreciate that this coat is from Primark. Yep I bought myself this lovely and very similar version from H&M but when I was browsing amongst the mayhem that is Primark on Tottenham Court Road, I saw this beauty. An almost exact replica and 1/3 of the price. I’m struggling to find my perfect short teddy coat but for now this one will do!
