No.11 Pimlico Road, is another of those Instagram worthy, beautifully decorated restaurants. It’s best described as shabby-chic as the furniture has all been carefully ‘worn’. The decor consists of marble tables, tall ceilings and light, bright colours with a huge central bar. It’s located on the edge of Pimlico (I know, shocker) just around the corner from Sloane Square; ideal for a post-lunch shopping and close to the station.
We went last Saturday for brunch which they serve all day and offer an array of dishes such as the typical eggs benedict and eggs royale to less obvious; coconut pancakes and ham hash. Prices are definitely affordable, varying from around £8-£12 for a main dish. We added a couple of drinks, a side of paprika chips and with service it came to about £50 for 2. One thing I always judge a venue on when it comes to brunch, the most important thing to note – are the poached eggs runny in the middle? Yes.
Overall, if you love Instagrammable decor, good food and drinks and a relaxed atmoshphere then it’s worth a visit. They also offer Sunday roasts, so I’ll definitely be going back!
