Personally I think buying your Christmas presents at the beginning of December is perfectly acceptable, but so many people keep smugly telling me they finished buying all their presents at the end of November. Well, I blame it on having a big family but I am definitely not anywhere near being done with presents yet! If you’re a little last minute (if that’s what you want to call it) like me, and need some good gift ideas other than the usual gift voucher and slippers – I’ve got some unique gift ideas to help you out.
Low Budget
Just looking for a little something? Here are my top picks in the lower price range..
Desenio wall prints
If you haven’t seen these prints beautifully scattered over many a bloggers walls, photographed and ‘grammed where have you been the last 6 months?! If the lucky gift receiver is into their interiors, loves a good quote or just pretty pictures in frames, take a look at the Desenio prints. They’re perfect to create a gallery wall and if you choose wisely and find a meaningful quote or photo to match their colour scheme it can be such a thoughtful gift too. Shop the world map print here and the lipstick print here.
Burga Official Phonecases
I’ve had so many compliments on these phone cases- I think they’re my favourite ever. They have so many designs to choose from for both him and her and are so inexpensive, these would make a great secret Santa present or as part of a bigger gift. Check out their Instagram here and Shop the cases here.
DS London personalised bag / keyring
If you know someone into their leather goods, DS London have you covered. With a beautiful collection of luxury leather hand crafted bags, luggage tags, keyrings and cosmetic bags there’s plenty to choose from. They offer personalised monogramming on some products too which makes them extra personal. I have a leather keyring and Petite Millie cosmetic bags with my initials on which are both very affordable yet look so stylish and expensive. If you want to spend a little more take a look at their leather bags.. I have my eye on this one for Christmas!
Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer
Roxanne Campbell is the lead manicurist at London and New York fashion weeks, so I think it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about nails. These nail polishes are luxurious, long-lasting and the collection has a beautiful range of colours. If you know someone into their manicures, these will be perfect!
Higher Budget.. Go on, they deserve it
If you’re feeling generous here are my top present picks in a slightly higher price range.
Jane Koenig Jewellery
With such a vast collection you’ll definitely be able to find something for everyone. Their jewellery is available in 18 carat gold, 18 carat gold-plated silver, rhodinated silver, rose gold-plated silver and sterling silver so there’s plenty of options and different price points. I have these horn earrings which I’m obsessed with! They’re matt, gold plated silver and are so different to my usual jewellery and make such a stand out piece but also so versatile that I could wear them every day if I wanted.
Ren Skincare
‘Cause who doesn’t love receiving make-up and skincare?! I’ve been trying this little miracle product that is Ren ‘Perfect Canvas’ and I couldn’t recommend it more. You use it as a primer – post-moisturiser, pre-makeup and it’s meant to create the perfect base for your makeup to look flawless. It also claims to help smooth your skin as well as add moisture and pump skin. Now I was fairly sceptical of this before I tried it due to the price tag (at £50 this definitely falls in the more expensive gifts section!) but I can’t explain how much it has done to smooth my skin, any texture I had has diminished and my skin is left plumped. I’ve been trying to get rid of the texture on my skin for so long so for me, this really is a miracle product and I know I would be pretty chuffed to receive this as a gift! They have so many products in the collection to try; shop it here.
Trinny London Makeup
I recently was lucky enough to be invited to an event for the launch of the Trinny London makeup range. It was an intimate dinner with Trinny herself, spent chatting about skincare and makeup products followed by trying out all the new products in the range. I have been testing out 3 products from the ‘Stacks’ range; the foundation, highlighter and the bronzer. You can buy these ‘stacks‘ in sets or the individual products. What’s unique about their site is you can enter a description of yourself i.e eye colour, skin colour and shade, hair colour and shade etc. and it will then tell you which product shades and colours will suit you best. This makes it perfect for gifting as you can’t go wrong with the colours!
A Henry London watch
If you’re after something sentimental which will be treasured for a little longer than the average gift, a Henry London watch is a no-brainer. A beautifully classic watch with the option to engrave the case back with a thoughtful message or simple initials. The range features square watches, plainer dials and my favourite vintage inspired collection. They also have an ‘automatics’ range for men so there is a collection for every style. My favourites include this boyfriend style watch (which I recently added to my collection!) featuring a black dial and leather strap, this rose gold chronograph with mesh strap and the gold square.
