Benicassim 2014 Style Diary

So I am finally home from my Spanish adventures and here is day 1 of my style diary! As you can imagine it’s not easy putting an outfit together at a festival, when getting dressed while standing up is near impossible in a tent and the luxury of a mirror is non existent. So I first teamed these yellow crochet Zara shorts with the black Missguided bralet. However after using a few photographs as a mirror I decided to keep the outfit light and summery and change to the white off shoulder crop top by Asos.
These sandals will appear in a lot of my posts as they really were my wardrobe staple for Benicassim and Marbella. They’re from Primark and were (obviously) an absolute bargain. After many sandal disasters with friends shoes breaking and replacements being purchased I cannot explain how good these primark ones are! They have a small wedge so you’re heel stays comfortable and a zip up back so no t-bars (if you’re someone who finds them uncomfortable), and I personally think they’re nicer than any others I saw.
These Zara shorts are a brighter twist on the popular white crochet shorts of the moment. As a lover of bright colours these are perfect for me. I love the detailing round the hem and with an elasticated waist band they’re so easy and comfortable to wear on holiday. They are even in the sale at the moment for £12.99! The black bralet from Missguided is great for layering or teaming with denim shorts or long maxi skirts. I would suggest going a size up as I originally bought a size 8 and had to swap to a 10.
